Facebook Ads with Google Analytics 4

Facebook Ads and Google Analytics 4 are separate destinations in the same SignalBridge pixel, so one captured event can reach both. The two pages below describe each in full.

The two sides

Facebook Ads

Connect your Meta ad account and dataset (Pixel) in SignalBridge, then install the SignalBridge script or the Shopify app. Each supported event goes to the Conversions API with a shared event ID, hashed customer details and your fbc and fbp identifiers. Meta merges it with the browser event when both arrive. Events from visitors who have not agreed to marketing tracking are not sent.

Google Analytics 4

Connect your Google account, choose a GA4 property and web data stream, and SignalBridge creates a Measurement Protocol secret named SignalBridge and starts sending events with GA4's recommended names, such as purchase, generate_lead and begin_checkout. Each event is sent once, with its value, currency and transaction ID. Server events are separate hits from the browser tag and are not joined to a browser session.

This pairing does not have a step-by-step guide of its own yet. The two references above cover the connection, the events and the limits for each side.
