SignalBridge vs Triple Whale: what changed since October?
SignalBridge vs Triple Whale is a choice between an AI-driven attribution platform and a tool built to deliver conversion events. Triple Whale reports on your store, attributes revenue and, through its AI operator Moby, acts in your ad accounts. Its Sonar Optimize also sends server-side conversions to ten ad platforms. SignalBridge delivers events to seven destinations and prices by event volume.
The short answer: choose Triple Whale if you want one AI-driven workspace for attribution, creative and budget decisions. Choose SignalBridge if you want conversion delivery, including Microsoft Ads, with a public monthly price list. You can run both, as long as every destination has exactly one sender.
The biggest change since our October 19 comparison is the overlap. That post and our other Triple Whale guides said Triple Whale's server-side delivery was listed for Meta, because that is how its pricing page words it. Triple Whale's Help Center lists ten destinations, so the two products overlap on four ad platforms. We have corrected the older posts to match.
We build SignalBridge, so read this with that in mind. We used Triple Whale's pricing page, its Help Center articles on Sonar Optimize and moving from Elevar to Sonar Optimize, its October product update and its Sonar Send guides, all checked on November 1, 2026, together with our own product code. We have not run Triple Whale on a store, so we mark vendor claims as such and say where we could not find something. Prices and features change, so check the current pages before you decide.
Here is what changed since our October posts:
| Topic | What our October posts said | What Triple Whale's pages show on November 1, 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Server-side delivery | Listed for Meta only | The Help Center lists ten Sonar Optimize destinations: Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Reddit, X, AppLovin, Realize (Taboola), ChatGPT Ads, Snapchat and Pinterest. The pricing page still words Sonar Optimize around Meta |
| Attribution passback | Not covered | Sonar Optimize can send Triple Whale's attribution credit to Meta as Custom Attribution. Snapchat and Pinterest document their own attribution settings |
| Email and SMS | Covered in our Klaviyo tools guide | Sonar Send applies the same first-party data to Klaviyo, Attentive and Omnisend |
| What Sonar costs | Included in paid plans | The pricing FAQ says Sonar is included in every new paid package. The Help Center collection pages still describe it as a paid add-on, so ask which applies to your contract |
| Black Friday | Not covered | The October update lists a BFCM Command Center, with planning, live tracking, competitor monitoring and Moby recommendations, as available on all plans |
| Price | No dollar amounts | Still no dollar amounts. Paid plans are quoted by annual GMV |
Here is the comparison at a glance:
| Factor | SignalBridge | Triple Whale |
|---|---|---|
| Main job | Delivers conversion events to ad platforms, GA4 and Klaviyo, and monitors delivery | Attribution, analytics and an AI operator (Moby), with Sonar for server-side delivery |
| Server-side ad platforms | Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Taboola, Microsoft Ads | Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Reddit, X, AppLovin, Realize (Taboola), ChatGPT Ads, Snapchat, Pinterest |
| Email and SMS | Klaviyo, through the Events API | Klaviyo, Attentive and Omnisend, through Sonar Send |
| Attribution | First- and last-touch source, medium and campaign, with a journey view per conversion | Seven attribution models on paid plans, a post-purchase survey, and Compass (MMM and incrementality) on Enterprise |
| Price shown publicly | $29 to $349 a month by events | None. Quote by annual GMV, plus a Free plan |
| Commitment | Monthly or yearly billing, 14-day free trial | Paid plans are 12-month subscriptions |
| Users | 1 on Starter, up to unlimited on Enterprise | Unlimited on paid plans, 10 on Free |
| Bot filtering | Built in on every plan | Not listed on its pricing page |
| Store platforms | Shopify app, plus a script for WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Webflow, Squarespace and custom sites | Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce and more. Sonar Optimize needs developer work on headless Shopify, BigCommerce and WooCommerce |
| Setup | Self-serve, then connect each platform | Triple Whale says most brands are up and running in 15 minutes with no engineer |
Which ad platforms does each tool send conversions to?
Both tools send events from a server, so an ad platform can receive a conversion even when a browser blocks the pixel. The lists differ, and so do the extras around each one.
| Destination | SignalBridge | Triple Whale (Sonar) |
|---|---|---|
| Meta | Conversions API with a shared event ID, hashed customer data and consent held back | Conversion data enrichment, plus attribution passback as Custom Attribution |
| Google Ads | Offline click conversion uploads matched by gclid, gbraid or wbraid, with enhanced conversions and refund adjustments | Server-side enrichment, plus profit optimization workflows |
| TikTok | Events API | Server-side enrichment |
| Taboola | Server-to-server postback (Taboola by Realize) | Realize, through the Taboola Conversions API |
| Microsoft Ads | Offline conversions matched by msclkid | Not on the Sonar Optimize list. Microsoft Ads data comes into Triple Whale for reporting |
| Reddit, X, AppLovin, ChatGPT Ads | Not available | Server-side enrichment |
| Snapchat, Pinterest | Not available | Server-side enrichment, with their own attribution settings |
| GA4 | Measurement Protocol events that supplement your own tag | Not on the Sonar Optimize list |
| Klaviyo | Events API, as eight metrics | Sonar Send, as custom events named "- Triple Pixel" |
| Attentive, Omnisend | Not available | Sonar Send |
Counting platforms does not compare quality. Four differences sit behind the table:
- Meta. Triple Whale pairs enrichment with attribution passback, which tells Meta how Triple Whale credited an order and shows up as Custom Attribution inside your Purchase event. Triple Whale says it needs a paid plan with Sonar Optimize and about 14 days of data collection before you evaluate it. SignalBridge has no equivalent. It focuses on delivering the conversion once, with the same event ID as your browser pixel so Meta can deduplicate.
- Event shaping. Triple Whale lists New Customer Purchase, Returning Customer Purchase and Initial Subscription Purchase events, plus custom conversion events for some platforms, and says availability varies by platform. That matters if you optimize for new customers.
- Google Ads. SignalBridge uploads offline click conversions and retracts or restates them when Shopify orders are refunded or cancelled. Triple Whale documents profit-based conversion workflows for Meta and Google Ads, which SignalBridge does not offer.
- Delivery visibility. Triple Whale's Delivery Overview shows events sent, status, health and configuration errors, and individual payloads on some integrations. SignalBridge's Tracking Health shows delivery rates per platform and per pixel and emails you when delivery drops, a platform goes silent or Meta Event Match Quality falls. Neither replaces a look at the ad platform's own event tools. Triple Whale itself says successful delivery does not always mean the event appears in campaign reporting straight away.
How do pricing and contracts compare?
The two tools price different things. Triple Whale prices your business size. SignalBridge prices your traffic.
How does Triple Whale pricing work?
We checked Triple Whale's pricing page on November 1, 2026. It shows no dollar amounts. Our Triple Whale pricing guide covers each plan in detail. The parts that matter for this comparison are:
- Four packages. Free, Foundation, Automate and Enterprise. Foundation adds multi-touch attribution, the full BI suite and Moby as an analyst. Automate adds automations, Moby actions in your ad accounts and Creative Studio. Enterprise adds Compass, multi-brand reporting and procurement-grade security.
- Price follows annual GMV. Prices combine your brand's annual GMV and the package. Paid plans include unlimited users and as many stores as you need.
- Twelve-month terms. Foundation, Automate and Enterprise are 12-month subscriptions, billed monthly or annually with two months free. Annual prepay locks your tier for the year. Without it, you move to the tier that matches your revenue as you grow, and Triple Whale says it will notify you well in advance.
- Sonar. The pricing FAQ says Sonar Send and Sonar Optimize come with Foundation, Automate and Enterprise at no additional cost, in every new paid package. Ask whether an older plan or a quote lists Sonar as an add-on.
- A free plan. Free has no commitment and includes the Triple Pixel with first- and last-click attribution, up to 10 users and 12 months of data.
- Human help. A dedicated customer success manager is listed for brands with $10M or more in GMV.
How does SignalBridge pricing work?
SignalBridge has one price list, and every accepted event counts, page views included:
| Plan | Price per month | Events included | Overage per 1,000 events | Connected platforms | Users |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $29 | 20,000 | $2.50 | 2 | 1 |
| Growth | $79 | 50,000 | $2.00 | Unlimited | 3 |
| Pro | $129 | 150,000 | $1.50 | Unlimited | 5 |
| Ultra | $199 | 300,000 | $1.00 | Unlimited | 10 |
| Enterprise | $349 | 750,000 | $0.75 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Yearly billing is about 20% lower, for example Starter at $23.17 a month. There is a 14-day free trial and no free plan. If you pay through Shopify, you approve a monthly budget for any overage in Shopify. Automatic ad spend sync is part of Pro and above, and data history runs from 6 months on Starter to unlimited from Ultra.
How do you compare a quote with an event price?
You cannot compare a quote with a list price until you have the quote, so get the number first. Ask Triple Whale for:
- A 12-month total at your current GMV and at roughly double, because your tier moves with revenue.
- Confirmation of what Sonar costs on your contract.
- The terms for cancelling or downgrading before the 12 months end.
Then work out your SignalBridge cost from events per order:
events per order = events per session ÷ conversion rate
A store with 2% conversion and four tracked events per session brings about 200 events per order. At 1% conversion that doubles to 400, and at 4% it halves to 100. The next table uses 200 as an illustration, not a measurement of any particular store.
| Orders per month | Events per month | SignalBridge plan | Monthly cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| 75 | 15,000 | Starter | $29 |
| 200 | 40,000 | Growth | $79 |
| 500 | 100,000 | Pro | $129 |
| 1,000 | 200,000 | Ultra | $199 |
| 2,500 | 500,000 | Enterprise | $349 |
Triple Whale's side of that table is a quote. Price is also not the only gap. A store that needs multi-touch attribution or a post-purchase survey is not comparing like with like, and neither is a store that needs Microsoft Ads delivery. Starter connects only two platforms, so a store sending to Meta, Google and Klaviyo needs Growth at $79.
Can you run Triple Whale and SignalBridge together?
Yes, but not with both sending the same standard events to the same ad platform. Triple Whale's Sonar Optimize guide says that running multiple providers that send the same standard conversion events to the same platform and dataset "can create duplicate events and interfere with reporting or campaign optimization", and that deduplication "is not automatic across every Sonar Optimize integration".
Meta removes a duplicate only when the browser and server events share the same event name and event ID, within 48 hours. Two different tools will not necessarily generate the same ID, so one tool cannot be relied on to deduplicate the other. Our guide to event deduplication explains the rules.
Three patterns avoid the problem:
| Pattern | What runs | Use it when |
|---|---|---|
| A. Triple Whale for analysis, SignalBridge for delivery | Triple Pixel and dashboards stay on. Sonar Optimize stays off, and SignalBridge sends every server-side event | You want Triple Whale reporting and one tool sending conversions |
| B. Triple Whale passback to Meta, SignalBridge for events | SignalBridge sends standard events to Meta. In Triple Whale the standard-event toggles stay off and Attribution Passback stays on, which is the passback-only mode its guide describes | You want Meta to optimize toward Triple Whale's attribution. We have not tested this combination, so verify it in Events Manager first |
| C. One sender per platform | For example Sonar Optimize for Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit and X, and SignalBridge for Microsoft Ads, Taboola and Klaviyo | You need destinations that only one tool covers |
Whichever you pick, write the sender map down, with one line per destination and the name of the tool that sends it.
If you move a destination from one tool to the other, turn the old sender off before the new one goes live. Triple Whale's guide for moving from Elevar to Sonar Optimize uses the same rule: switch off the equivalent connection and pause overlapping Google Tag Manager tags. Then place a test order, confirm it arrives once with the right value and currency, and compare platform purchases with your store's orders for several days.
What does Triple Whale do better?
- Attribution depth. Paid plans offer seven attribution models (Linear All, Linear Paid, First Click, Last Click, Triple Attribution, Total Impact and Clicks & Deterministic Views) with lookback windows from one day to lifetime. Free offers first- and last-click, lifetime only.
- Surveys and measurement. A native post-purchase survey feeds the Total Impact model. Compass adds marketing mix modeling and incrementality testing on Enterprise.
- Attribution passback. Triple Whale can tell Meta how it credited each order. SignalBridge cannot.
- An AI operator. Moby answers questions on Foundation and, on Automate, can adjust budgets, pause ads and launch campaigns within your approval settings and guardrails.
- Analytics breadth. More than 50 dashboard templates, a SQL editor, cohort, product and creative analysis, industry benchmarks, and integrations with subscription, review, shipping and marketplace tools.
- More ad destinations and more email tools. Ten Sonar Optimize destinations against our five ad platforms, plus Attentive and Omnisend.
- Profit-based optimization. Documented workflows for Meta and Google Ads.
- A free plan, unlimited users and SOC 2. Triple Whale says SOC 2 compliance is available on every tier.
What does SignalBridge do better?
- Microsoft Ads. Offline conversions matched by msclkid. We did not find Microsoft Ads among Triple Whale's Sonar Optimize destinations. Our guide to Microsoft Ads offline conversions shows how it works.
- Bot filtering. Suspected bot events are filtered before they reach ad platforms, on every plan. We did not find bot filtering on Triple Whale's pricing page.
- A public price list with no 12-month term. Monthly or yearly billing, a 14-day free trial, and a cost you can forecast from your traffic.
- Stores beyond Shopify. WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Webflow, Squarespace and custom sites run through one script. Triple Whale says Sonar Optimize needs a short developer implementation on headless Shopify, BigCommerce and WooCommerce.
- Funnel analytics on every plan. A funnel builder is included from Starter. Triple Whale sells path and funnel analysis in its Conversion add-on, which is included on Automate and Enterprise.
SignalBridge also has real limits. It has no multi-touch attribution models, no post-purchase survey, no creative analytics and no AI operator that acts in your ad accounts. It has no Reddit, X, AppLovin, ChatGPT Ads, Snapchat or Pinterest destination and no Attentive or Omnisend. Starter connects two platforms and one user. On WooCommerce the script reads the order confirmation page, so refund and cancellation events are not available. Its GA4 events are not joined to browser sessions. Event-based pricing grows with traffic.
Which should you choose?
Choose on the job you need done, then check the cost.
Triple Whale may suit you if:
- You want one workspace for attribution, creative and budget decisions, with an AI operator
- Multi-touch models or a post-purchase survey matter to how you spend
- You advertise on Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, X, AppLovin or ChatGPT Ads and want server-side delivery there
- You are on Shopify, can commit to 12 months, and your GMV makes a quote small next to your ad spend
- You use Klaviyo, Attentive or Omnisend and want flow enrichment from the same tool
SignalBridge may suit you if:
- You advertise on Microsoft Ads or Taboola, or you want server-side Klaviyo events
- You want conversion delivery and funnel analytics, not a full analytics suite
- You sell on WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Webflow, Squarespace or a custom site
- You want a public price list, monthly billing and a 14-day trial
- Bot filtering matters for your ad data
Use both if you want Triple Whale's attribution and each destination has exactly one sender.
If you are still unsure, our Triple Whale alternatives guide covers Northbeam, Elevar, Cometly and Rockerbox, and the Northbeam comparison covers the closest attribution rival.
What should you do in the 24 days before Black Friday?
Black Friday is November 27 and Cyber Monday is November 30. Our BFCM preparation guide recommends having tracking locked weeks earlier, because ad platforms need time on clean conversion data. If you are choosing a tool now, you are inside that window, so risk matters more than features.
If your tracking works today, keep your current senders live. Run the other tool against test destinations or a test property, compare it with your store's orders, and decide after Cyber Monday.
If a platform you advertise on has no server-side delivery, add that one destination now. Adding Microsoft Ads or Taboola does not touch your Meta and Google signal, so the risk is low.
If your tracking is broken or double-counting, fix it before anything else. Choose one sender per destination and move the main senders by about November 9.
If you do change something, work to a calendar like this one. It is our suggestion, not a rule from either tool:
| Dates | What to do |
|---|---|
| November 3 to 5 | Decide. List every ad platform, email tool and store platform you use, and mark each one as covered by Sonar, by SignalBridge, by both or by neither. Request the Triple Whale quote or start the SignalBridge trial |
| November 5 to 9 | Install and verify one destination at a time. Use each platform's test tool, place a test order and confirm it arrives once, with the right value |
| November 9 to 19 | Compare for about 10 days. Match platform purchases against store orders and check Event Match Quality |
| November 19 to 20 | Freeze. Switch off the overlapping sender, remove old tags and write down who sends what |
| November 20 to 26 | Hold. Check delivery daily, and install no new apps and make no theme changes |
| November 27 to 30 | Black Friday to Cyber Monday. Monitor, and do not change anything |
Our BFCM tracking checklist and the Q4 tracking playbook cover the platform checks for the freeze.
FAQ
Is SignalBridge a good Triple Whale alternative in 2026?
It is a good alternative if your main need is conversion delivery. SignalBridge sends events to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Taboola, Microsoft Ads, GA4 and Klaviyo, filters bots and prices by events from $29 a month. It is not a replacement for Triple Whale's multi-touch attribution, post-purchase survey, creative analysis or AI operator. If you need those, Triple Whale is the stronger fit.
Does Triple Whale do server-side tracking?
Yes. Its Sonar Optimize sends enriched first-party conversion data server-side to ten ad platforms: Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Reddit, X, AppLovin, Realize (Taboola), ChatGPT Ads, Snapchat and Pinterest. Sonar Send does the same for Klaviyo, Attentive and Omnisend. Our October posts said it was listed for Meta only, which the Help Center shows was too narrow.
How much does Triple Whale cost in November 2026?
Triple Whale's pricing page shows no dollar amounts when we checked on November 1, 2026. Paid plans (Foundation, Automate and Enterprise) are priced by annual GMV and the package, on 12-month subscriptions, and there is a Free plan. Get a quote at your current GMV and at about double. SignalBridge costs $29 to $349 a month, by events.
Is Triple Whale cheaper than SignalBridge?
It depends, because Triple Whale publishes no price to compare. Its price follows your revenue and SignalBridge's follows your event volume, so a store with high order values and few orders is priced very differently from one with many small orders. Get the quote, work out your events per order and compare the 12-month totals, including any destination only one tool covers.
Can I use Triple Whale and SignalBridge together?
Yes, if every destination has one sender. Triple Whale warns that two providers sending the same standard events to one platform can create duplicates. A safe split is Triple Whale for analysis with Sonar Optimize off, or Triple Whale's attribution passback to Meta with its standard-event toggles off, while SignalBridge sends the conversions.
Does SignalBridge replace Triple Whale's attribution?
No. SignalBridge reports first- and last-touch source, medium and campaign and shows a journey per conversion, but it has no multi-touch models, post-purchase survey, marketing mix modeling or incrementality testing. Teams that rely on those keep Triple Whale and use SignalBridge for delivery.
Should I switch tracking tools right before Black Friday?
Only if your current setup is broken or missing a platform you advertise on. Ad platforms need time on clean conversion data, so keep working senders live, test the new tool in parallel and switch after Cyber Monday. If you must change something now, finish by about November 20 and freeze everything afterwards.
What are the main Triple Whale competitors?
Northbeam, Cometly and Rockerbox are the closest attribution alternatives, Elevar is the Shopify-specific tracking alternative and SignalBridge is the delivery-focused one. Our alternatives guide compares them.
